Through my work as a coach, writer and speaker, I'm all about helping you reach greater success in your life's work, whether that's in a board room or small business, a national forest or a writing studio, or at home with your family. My role is often a combination of teacher, guide, mentor, and catalyst. I believe that life is an adventure of growth through experience. I've worked in the wilderness as an adventure guide and in corporate America, for a Fortune 100 company. I am active in promoting social responsibility with small businesses and nonprofit groups. I'm also an advocate for women and children in developing countries and was awarded a six-month Global Health Fellowship in Nairobi, Kenya to work with HIV/AIDS prevention initiatives. Each opportunity has offered me a variety of experiences, but the focus of my personal and professional development has been the same, regardless of position: leadership, optimism and creativity. I believe that perspective is the
starting point for everything. What we put out into the world in
